Halley, was mated to Phil & Tiffany’s BISS winner, Pepe, Ch Danari Danceth Waves for our fourth litter.

Pepe had stayed with us when he won Puppy In Group at the Brisbane Royal in 2005, and since Danari & Classicyds have enjoyed sojourns north and south for Specialities and Royals, so we knew Pepe well and were excited about the prospect of a new litter.

Halley produced us 6 babies (5 girls and one boy), but after a rough birth we lost two girls, and then we had the onerous task of tube feeding our remaining 4. Thankfully with much help from Nadia’s mum, Peggy, we, and the pups survived and at 8 weeks we have four very even pups.

This was an exciting litter for our son, Jack, as at 5 years old he is now just starting to get the whole idea of dog breeding. Jack was in love with the pups from the start, and after their 8 week injections they went along to his Prep class for “show and tell”. Boy was he a popular kid that day! Jack is also keen for us to let him have his own pup, so maybe if Fifi (his favourite pup) is good enough he might just get his own dog. Jack is keen for Fifi to “lay” him a puppy (kind of like a chicken does).

Fifi, Classicyds Come Danc Wth Me, stayed with us, while Paetyn, Classicyds Can We Dance went to a show home with Shae Sanders of Anebellesque Cavaliers. Charli, Classicyds Charli Bear went to live on the Sunshine Coast and Gus, Classicyds Cowabunga went to North Lakes, where we can utilize them in future breeding programmes.

Both Fifi and Paetyn have commenced their show careers.
