Mia is the puppy who wasn’t expected to live. Being born weighing only 200 grams and by far the tiniest puppy she could have been a struggler, but instead with some extra love and care from David she gained weight quickly and her spunky little personality quickly endeared her to everyone who visited the whelping box.

By 6 weeks of age, Mia was bossing around all the pups and nothing has changed in that regard. Mia (or Mia-Kat…think Meerkat) is the spunkiest lass in the yard, and that’s saying something with her bossy mum, Liza around. The great news is that Mia translates that attitude at home into some real ring presence and she just loves the car already, so she certainly looks like a show pup in the making.

In her second show Mia placed 3rd at the BCC of NSW Championship Show and after plenty of successes an injury (yes, she was scooting around like a flash in the yard) meant that she spent 8 weeks crated, but since her return, she has been even happier to be shown and has continued her winning ways.

Her successes in limited showing include:

• 1st place Baby Puppy Sweepstakes
